TIPSY

TIPSY ry (Tampere International Global Society Students) is a student association at the University of Tampere. We represent the students of the following Study Programmes:

Our board members convey our interests and issues to the university staff through steering committee meetings and program feedback sessions.  We aim to be influential in these committees by discussing ideas for new courses and furthering the development of the programmes.

Additionally, we represent the social interests of the TIPSY members by organizing social events that bring students together. Our events are open to any students interested in the topics of our events.

TIPSY holds regular (usually bi-weekly) meetings to update all members on the ongoing activities of the TIPSY board regarding academic affairs and social events.

For incoming students who wish to join the TIPSY student association the membership requirement is a one-time fee of 10€ for 3 years of membership. We also offer a one-time fee of 15€ for 6 years of membership if you are a bachelor student.
